Huawei expands Honor device line-up in India

Huawei Honor 6Huawei on Monday took the wraps off the new Honor 6 Android smartphone as well as Honor T1 tablet at a press event in New Delhi. The new devices are being released in partnership with e-retailer Flipkart, which will be exclusively selling them in the country.
Priced at INR 19,999, the Honor 6 smartphone sports a 5-inch full HD display. It is powered by Huawei’s own 1.3GHz octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 920 processor and packs 3GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, microSD card slot and Android 4.4.2 with Emotion UI 2.3.
On the imaging front, Huawei has included a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and 5MP front camera on the smartphone. You can check out the detailed specifications at the end of the report. The Honor 6 goes on sale beginning October 6.
Coming to the Honor T1 tablet, the tablet features an 8-inch HD display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM, and 4800 mAh battery. The tablet also packs 5MP rear camera, 3G, voice-calling support, 8GB of internal storage and microSD card slot. It is the same tablet that was introduced recently in Malaysia as Honor tablet.
The Huawei Honor T1 tablet has been priced at INR 9,999 and will go on sale beginning October 10 in the country via Flipkart. The company has stated that the new devices will not be available in physical retail stores.
