The little-known WileyFox – who previously produced Kazam budget smartphones – are looking to muscle in on the current crop of good spec budget handsets with two models – the Storm and Swift, both of which run Cyanogen 12.1 OS.
The Storm is a 5.5-inch smartphone with a Full HD 1920 x 1080 IPS display.
It runs on a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor clocked at 1.5GHz and comes with 3GB of RAM and 32GB storage.
It’s most appealing feature is probably its 20MP Sony camera, as well as its 8MP front-facer.
The Storm supports 4G LTE connectivity, is dual SIM, has microSD expansion and measures 9.2mm thick.
When it’s released it’ll launch at £199 (US$310).
Slightly lower down the specs pile is the cheaper Swift smartphone, which runs in a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor and comes with 2GB of RAM and 16GB storage.
It has a 5-inch 1280 x 720-pixel display and carries a 13MP rear cam and 5MP selfie shooter.
This will be out at £129 ($200).
