Kyocera Torque: a super strong phone headed to Europe

Kyocera Torque: a super strong phone headed to Europe

Kyocera is known for making some of the best rugged smartphones, but it’s not known for sending them to European markets. In fact, their new Kyocera Torque happens to be the first device the manufacturer launches there. It’s coming to Germany and France as a B2B device this Spring.
Is it worth it? Well, it will definitely take a beating… and for a while. The device comes with a 3100 mAh battery, which should make it a battery beast when paired with its mid-end specs.
The Torque will feature a 4.5-inch 720p display, a 1.4 GHz Snapdragon processor, Android 4.4 KitKat, an 8 MP rear-facing camera and a 2 MP front shooter. In addition, it comes with IPX5 and IPX8 certifications.
Opinion: If you don’t know what those IP certifications mean, you can always refer to our guide on the topic. As for the phone, it looks good… if you really need a device you can torture as much as you want.
