…but sadly still no further word on the Iron Maiden headphones.
What we have learned about, however, are the X9 HRA Bluetooth speaker, the H500M headphones and the E700M earphones.
These are all produced around the Onkyo HF Player app, which is their dedicated system for getting the best out of 192kHz / 24-bit audio.
The X9 is – according to Onkyo – “the world’s first high-resolution Bluetooth speaker. The aluminium unit has four mid-bass drivers, two tweeters and two passive radiators. Sounds like it means business. On top of that it offers 10 hours playback and will cost $400 on release.
Also on the way is the H500M headphones, which come in black or white and feature an in-line mic and control. Their frequency range is 7Hz – 40kHz and they’ll launch at $200.
Last up we have the E700M earphones, which use the same “High Resolution Audio-capable” cable as the H500Ms and will launch at $115.
Release date TBA but they’ll be on display at the Berlin IFA.
