Samsung already some time ago announced that next year is going to release a smartphone with foldable and flexible screens. It seems that the same thing could happen to tablets. This suggests that the latest patent application, which was submitted by the Korean giant.

The request was lodged last year, and only adopted on 7 July. What's most interesting patent relates not only to OLED screens, but also LCD size to the known tablet Samsung. The circuits in this special LCD display located on both sides. Separately for each half, whereas the OLED everything is integrated and is bent along the panel. I'm honestly curious about how a device which will be equipped with this technology will be tested the everyday use. It gives a lot of interesting possibilities. Is again we stand at the threshold of another revolution, and the vision presented by Nokia a few years ago, would soon become a reality? Probably take a few / several years before this happens, but it seems to me that slowly we are moving in that direction. I would like to make it happen.
