The E-ink side of the Siwsoo R9 Darkmoon smartphone has appeared in photos and as a battery-saving, easy on the eyes second display option it’s doesn’t look too bad at all.
The R9 is powered by an octacore 64-bit processor and runs Android Lollipop.
It comes with 3GB of RAM, a 13MP camera and the main display is a 5-inch Full-HD screen.
The second screen, pictured, is a 4.7-inch E-ink unit with a resolution of 960 x 540. This display is designed to be used for reading emails, ebooks and browsing at a lower power consumption rate that’ll save the 3000mAh battery from running too low too quickly.
