Computex is about to take off and we are getting ready for all major Asian manufacturers to take off with a huge bang. One of the main players should, of course, be ASUS. The company happens to be local and a pretty major Asian player. We are not about how much they will be announcing, but we are getting an early look at an ASUS ZenPad.
A leaked press render shows a device that is said to come with a very interesting form factor, which we have seen in the past. It resembles a folded back notebook of sorts. The back is made of some kind of soft touch material and you can see the usual ports and buttons all around the device.
The ASUS ZenPad is said to come in two variations; a 7-inch version and an 8-inch bigger brother. Both should come with Intel processors and a variety of storage options. The main difference should be in the screen resolution. The 8-inch version is said to have a 2048×1536 resolution, while the smaller tablet will only have a 1024x600p panel.
Opinion: That’s quite a huge jump for tablets bearing the same branding and being only 1 inch apart. I can’t wait to hear more about this, though. ASUS has been doing an amazing job with its latest devices.
