iambillbil: Atom Versus Core-M

iambillbil: Atom Versus Core-M

Interesting post over at IMP3Net in which iambillbil compares the Intel Atom 3735f and 3736f to the Intel Core-M CPU [Google Translate].
He also debunks the marketing hype that compared the 3736f to the 3735f.
The bottom line is still the same: RAM speed and bandwidth.

Cyanogen is a popular variant of the Android OS and will ship with the ZUK Z1 Chinese smartphone, which is backed by Lenovo.
With Cyanogen OS 12.1 and some great stats, this could be one to watch.
The ZUK Z1 will run on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor backed by 3GB of RAM.
Storage is 64GB and it has a 5.5-inch 1080p display.
It will launch internationally in September and is expected to cost around $299.

Blog Notes: Standby

Blog Notes: Standby

WordPress problem preventing new posts.
Same-day update: WordPress has — without warning — deprecated their Classic Editor by removing buttons from it, forcing everyone to the new shitty editor.
The final days of this blog and my being at WordPress are at hand.
Second same-day update: The buttons in the Classic Editor are back. Was this a temporary glitch or WordPress seeing if people would even notice? But I’ve served my notice here again: If the Classic Editor ever goes away and we must use the new shitty editor, I’m out of here, period.

THE DOOGEE F3'S BAMBOO BACK COVERS DON'T CATCH ON FIRE!

Real bamboo has strong resilience. It’s strong as steel in tension, and stronger than concrete in compression. Meanwhile,  it’s so much more lightweight than glass or steel. The toughness and light weight make bamboo a perfect material for smartphones. In China, it is used for generations from ladders to furnitures and even tobuildings.

The wood covers we use for DOOGEE F3 are composed of three layers: fiberglass, real wood and paint used for furniture to improve the gloss and smoothness, making it antiseptic and smudge-free.
